I want to take this opportunity to thank you very much for stopping by to see what yours truly does. Name's Ralph Campbells, born and raised in the Carribean ( St.Lucia) Now resident in Ghana and LOVING it to the max ! I first came to Ghana in my early teens to visit my uncle and my old boy(Dad) and I was shocked -Culturally- since then I have always wanted to live in Africa-Ghana...

A lot has happened after taking Ghana as my first and last Home. Talk about my curiosity,my way of overstanding,the life style,the people the food and everything is so different compare to any country in the world...This place still fascinate me.

There are so many things I still try to overstand though, like a typical Ghanaian will always smile even when they are in trouble! they love to smile...they call each other ''Charlie'' either they know you or not someone will shout " Eh Charlie watch your path"... when you say some positive to them and it does make much sense he will smile and say "Oh Charlie !" Give Thankx Still !

I started working in the media after a good friend of mine Introduced me to guy called "Ben" in the early 1990's whom then was the GM of a local radio station called Sunshine Radio then it changed it's name to Choice Fm.

I worked my way through from a news reporter to news caster to an announcer to a Reggae j ! Rastafarai !...

Initially my dream was to become a Reggae artist,(When I was on the Island) as you know it's all in the blood from the Carribean.

I am not sure if you're reading what you wanna know ..but Jah know right now I work with Capital Radio and I am doing my thing like there's no tomorrow !...

My show runs every Friday from 8:30PM TILL 1:am and Saturday from 8:30 pm TILL 11:pm. Fridays I play exclusive songs for 25-30 minutes then at exactly 10:45pm I will open up the phone lines and listeners call in to speak their minds... at 11:30 phone lines are closed.

Then the show continues with a sizzling soundz of Reggae muzik as it take my listeners into very best of Reggae artist of yester years ! (IF you will...)...

On Saturday,we seldom open up the phone lines unless there's a "politically Incorrect" Issue that made the headline then I've got to pile up my bags with sweet reggae songz about "Poli-trick and Poli-tricians" !

this is just part of what I can write about"who I am" but I promise to Improve on this website, this is just piece of the cake we shall bring you some amazing news about reggae muzik and new talents form the Island, I will write about some really great Issues in regards to Muzik and the difference between Ghana and Africa and teh world...plus ! I will see if I could upload audio of my shows here so y'all get to hear how yours truly run the place !

Below is some news about my Island and some cranking thing: Of course You have to read thru to get used to teh language ! lol

I just came back from my holiday ina St. Lucia(Mi Yard).Bwoy the place nuh change nuh !...
Memba seh wen a man raise up ina yard and him travel for a long time and get back home after many years him expeckt fi see some changes... a Marigot Bay mi born..Castries mi a chat bout. Nuff greenery nuff vibes BUT the bigger picture ina any country is fi mek sure seh every yute get employment still.

Mi fren dem still nuh get employment ! after many years of trying wha yuh tink dem a go do? Looks seh the Carribean is an Island full of govt. who whan fi mash up the yutes ina political style. Vote for me and mi go mek yuh get emplyoment...

The Prime Min. was chating bout how the economy decline becuz of the criket game ! Mi Rahtid ! what bout tourism? all mi whan fi say is that ...create jobs for the yutes and if the yutes are working and making nuff money..dem a go boom de economy and make life smile dung pon every otha yute !

If you come from St.Lucia or Barbados, or Tinidad & Tobago or Jamaica or Bahamas or Guyana or goes knows or if you're a Carribean..God Loves you man ! a we a run the place star !..when I was living in Jamaica in teh early 90's till 2001 it was pure love from accross the miles.

Africa now mi home...but mi hold in high esteem mi yard fi sure !..cyaan tes bout dat...

so this news says :ANOTHER MURDER IN ST.LUCIA

CASTRIES, St Lucia: Saint Lucia has recorded yet another homicide which brings the total number of murders to 35. The lifeless body of French national Chef Laurent Mouyaton was found outside the gate of the Coalpot Restaurant.

His brand new pick-up truck was also stolen. Chef Laurent has been residing in Saint Lucia with his wife and two young children for the past 10 years. His co-workers and those who knew him were in disbelief upon hearing the news of his death.

Law enforcement officers continue to gather evidence in order to determine the motive for the crime and they also indicated that he sustained multiple gunshot wounds from a large caliber weapon.

Calixte George, Internal Security Minister, is confident the crime will be solved.

SO THE POINT IS THAT WHEN I WAS IN CASTRIES THERE HAS BEEN SOME POLITICIANS WHO (AS WE ALL KNOW THEM TO BE) ARE SAYING THE CRICKET GAME WILL BE SAFE AND SAFETY ! MI JUS LAUGH CUZ MI NUH SEH HIM MAD BAD BAD BAD !

Soon and very soon I will change this little blog of mine and do something pakced..but until then ,remember crime doesn't pay just love the life you live and live the life you love...equal rights and justice to all,for those in Ghana- I'd say you can catch me live on capital Radio Fri and Sat. night for the best in Reggae muzik niceness cyaan dun !
